It's Christmas season, time for parties, food, games, and decorating. The season  of gift giving and spreading cheer.

There's many endless choices for the health nut at the party, the sugar lover, and even the person with allergies. From snowmen, Santa, reindeer, elves, snowflakes, and Christmas trees there is so many endless choices.

Healthy Ideas:
  • Like the picture above grab some bananas, grapes, and strawberries. Cut the banana into small pieces, and trim the tops of the strawberries. Then with a toothpick center the fruit and create little fruit people!
  • With a large plate form a Christmas tree out of any popular fruit. Grapes for the green of the tree and use other fruits for ornaments or the star on the tree.
Sugar Ideas:
  • Like the picture above buy some chocolate cupcakes, vanilla wafers, M&M's, pretzels, and black icing. Use vanilla wafers as the mouth and then use black icing for a smile. Use M&M's for the nose, eyes, and ears. To top of your reindeer creation use pretzels for the antlers.
  • Like the picture above use peanuts or peanut crackers, white/black/red frosting, and red sprinkles. Create a Santa with a white bearded icing and hat. Use black icing for eyes. Red icing for nose. Then add red sprinkles to the hat.

The last thing anybody hosting a Christmas party would want is for their guests to be unoccupied. There's plenty of ideas to last the night away, and keep all ages busy. There's group activities, partner activities, and individual activities.

Game Ideas:
  • Like the picture above these people have paper plates on their heads. Now yes this looks strange but it's actually a funny outcome. You can have the guests draw anything usually a Christmas scene, such as a fire place with stockings, Santa, trees with presents, e.t.c. Then once they are finished drawing the scene on top of their head they get to see how "good" their drawing turned out.
  • Everybody likes bingo! The kids play it in school and the elders play it at gatherings. There's a thrill in being the winner of a prize. Make the prize a gift card, a gift basket, or give the winner several options.
  • White elephant gifts have been around for years. Bringing in a funny gift or even a gift that anybody could enjoy, every family does it differently. Draw numbers and in order every person gets the chance to open up their gifts one by one and laugh at the nonsense gifts, or enjoy the nice gift. Opening one at a time keeps guests occupied for 30 min to an hour.
Christmas Gift Exchange

If you are doing secret Santa or have to buy a gift for someone and you have no idea what they'd like a gift basket is a perfect idea. A gift basket gives them several items and there is bound to be one thing they like in the basket. They can be for a woman in the family, a man, the pet, the kid, or a basket for them all.

Basket Ideas:

  • For Kids: Toys. games, electronics, and outdoor stuff. Try to stay away from clothes if they are younger. Depending on their personality they may like money or gift cards. But tangible toys and items are better and create more appeal.
  • For Teens: Clothes, electronics, makeup, expensive things, money, and gift cards. For teens its better off giving them money or gift cards. All teens are growing different and have different styles and personalities.
  • For Women: Fragrance soaps for the home, slippers, candles for the home, and gift cards for groceries or department stores. Women will really appreciate anything.
  • For Men: Tools, shower stuff, car stuff, and gift cards. Men are the most difficult to shop  for. Some men are more intrigued with manly work than others, so shower stuff is almost always the best choice rather than tools.
  • For Family: Movie baskets, food baskets, or board game baskets. They all give the family a night or many nights of something fun to do.
  • For Pets: Treats, collars, toys, clothes, food, basically anything. Dogs don't realize what they are getting but they'll love treats and toys the most!

I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! As well as the perfect Christmas Party!
